SO JUST WHAT IS "CIN"? The Pend Oreille County Library District belongs to a group of over 15 regional libraries who form a consortium: the Cooperative Information Network (CIN). Items from all these cooperating libraries are available through our online catalog. When you search the PAC you can have your search find materials at all CIN cooperating libraries, or you can use the pull-down selection list to narrow your search to a specific library in the CIN group.
The PAC allows you to search online for books, videos, audiocassettes, DVDs, CD books-on-tape, magazines, reference books, and online databases. You can place holds on items, except reference materials, from home as well as from the library. You can also use the PAC to renew items (unless the item is already overdue or there is a hold on the item at the time of renewal). Check out Your Library Account and you can even set up your own personalized portal.
