Friends of the Pend Oreille County Library District
The purpose of the Friends of the Newport Library is to be a strong support group, to aid in the promotion of the library and its services, and to provide volunteers to assist with special programs and events.
The next Friends meeting will be Wednesday,
April 8th at 3:00pm in the Newport Public Library.

ANNUAL AND ONGOING BOOK SALES
Each fall the Friends raises funds with a book sale at the Newport Eagles. Books are also for sale throughout the year in the newport Library. Proceeds have gone to support:

| Book Bags | New Baby Program |
Donations of your gently used books are taken thoughout the year. Please bring them to the Newport Library.
The following cannot be accepted as they do not sell:

| Readers' Digest Condensed Books | Encyclopedias |
